Fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Completing the FAFSA each year is your ticket to federal student aid. USAO also uses this application to  determine your eligibility for school and state-specific aid. File your FAFSA as soon as possible to access the most amount of aid that can be awarded to you based on your financial need.
