How to Get Financial Aid

STEPS TO APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID

  1. Apply for admission to the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma using our online admissions application.
  2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be careful to select the correct application year for when you will attend school.

Things to know regarding the FAFSA:

  • You and your required FAFSA contributors will need to create a U.S. Department of Education FSA ID.
  • You and your required FAFSA contributors will be required to provide consent to the
electronic transfer of federal tax information (FTI). If the FTI does not transfer, you will be able to enter information manually.
  • Answer all questions accurately and to the best of your ability.
  • If you have concerns about income being less now than it was for
the income year being reported to your FAFSA, or feel you qualify for unusual
circumstances regarding your contributors, contact our office after your FAFSA submission. You can also refer to our Professional Judgement page for more information.
  • If other documentation is needed to complete the financial aid application, the student is contacted.
  • The Federal School Code for USAO is 003167
