First Time Freshmen Scholarships

2024-2025 Academic Year

All students newly admitted to USAO are automatically evaluated for scholarship eligibility.

Complete your application for admission by Feb. 1, 2025, for automatic scholarship consideration.

Students may only receive one academic or talent scholarship unless otherwise noted. Students receiving a one-year scholarship are encouraged to apply each spring for continuing student scholarships in subsequent years.

All scholarships are competitive and may change annually depending upon scholarship funding availability and other institutional factors. Housing portions of scholarships are subject to on campus room availability and are not guaranteed. Students not living in on campus housing will not be eligible for the room portion of scholarship offers.

To be eligible, you must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and apply for admission prior to Feb. 1, 2025. You may submit new test scores through May 1, 2025 to upgrade your scholarship package. USAO accepts ACT scores or the SAT and CLT equivalent. You must be enrolled full-time as a degree seeking student at USAO and maintain a minimum GPA (requirements vary). Some scholarships are limited.
