The University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma invites alumni, students, and friends of the university to head “Back to Class” in celebration of 60 years since the name change from OCW to OCLA. We extend a special invitation to former OCLA students and alumni to come together and honor the university that connected us all.

“We are thrilled to welcome our alumni back to campus and the Chickasha community,” said Whitney Palesano, Director of Alumni Relations and University Development. “This year’s homecoming is a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our shared history, celebrate our progress, and reconnect with the people and places that shaped our university experience.”

Festivities kick off on Friday, October 31, 2025, at USAO’s ArtWrecker in downtown Chickasha with the annual Creature Feature Halloween Costume Contest & Runway, co-hosted by the USAO Art, Music & Theatre Departments. This can't-miss event showcases the creative and unique masterpieces of students, faculty, and community members alike.

On Saturday, November 1, a full day of activities awaits, culminating in the first-ever Hall of Fame Gala. During this elegant evening, we will recognize our newest Alumni Hall of Fame inductee and Young Alumni Award recipient, while raising funds to support scholarships and alumni initiatives. Join us in honoring outstanding alumni and investing in the future of USAO students—this is an event you don’t want to miss.
